Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 Anon he shall roast into Fire having flame. 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
