(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
