WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 (Sitting) in groups on the right and on the left (of you, O Muhammad SAW)? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of every East and every West, that We are indeed Able. 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 The Day when they will come out of the graves quickly as racing to a goal, 43 Their eyes will be downcast and disgrace will overwhelm them. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
