Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ha Mim 1 This Book is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 2 Indeed in the heavens and the earth are signs for believers. 3 and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, 4 And the difference of night and day and the provision that Allah sendeth down from the sky and thereby quickeneth the earth after her death, and the ordering of the winds, are portents for a people who have sense. 5 These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications? 6 Woe to all the guilty impostors! 7 Who hears the revelations of God being recited to him, yet persists in denying with arrogance as though he had never heard them! So warn him of a painful punishment. 8 As for he who knows something of Our verses and then mocks them for those there is a humiliating punishment. 9 Hell is awaiting them and none of their deeds will be of any benefit to them, nor will any guardian whom they have chosen besides God. They will suffer a great torment. 10 This is guidance; and those who disbelieve in the signs of their Lord, there awaits them a painful chastisement of wrath. 11
