Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Generous and recording, 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
