Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 relieved you of the burden 2 Which had weighed upon your back 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And incline towards your Lord. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
