The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
