Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
As for the God-fearing, they shall be amid gardens and springs. 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
