Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
