▼ 21 The Prophets
Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
Whosoever worketh righteous works, and he is a believer, there shall be no denial of his endeavour; and We are for him the Writers. 94 And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return 95 till Gog and Magog are let loose and slide down out of every slope; 96 and nigh has drawn the true promise, and behold, the eyes of the unbelievers staring: 'Alas for us! We were heedless of this; 'nay, we were evildoers.' 97 You and all those who you were worshipping, other than Allah, shall be the fuel of Gehenna; there you shall all go down to it. 98 Had these (idols, etc.) been aliha (gods), they would not have entered there (Hell), and all of them will abide therein. 99 For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear. 100 But for those whom We had decided to favour with good reward, they shall be kept far removed from Hell. 101 And will not hear its hissing, and will live for ever in the midst of what their hearts desire. 102 They will not be affected by the great terror. The angels will come to them with this glad news: "This is your day which was promised to you." 103 And (remember) the Day when We shall roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books, as We began the first creation, We shall repeat it, (it is) a promise binding upon Us. Truly, We shall do it. 104 And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants. 105 Indeed, in this [Qur'an] is notification for a worshipping people. 106 And We have not sent thee except as a mercy unto the Worlds. 107 Say: 'It is revealed to me that your God is One God, do you then surrender' 108 But if they turn away, say: "I have proclaimed this in equity unto all of you alike; but I do not know whether that [judgment] which you are promised [by God] is near or far [in time]. 109 Indeed He knows what you say loudly and what you hide. 110 And know not; haply it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a season. 111 Say, "My Lord, judge with truth. Our Lord is the Gracious One whose help we seek against what you utter." 112
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
