۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 If He will, He can put you away and bring a new creation; 16 And with Allah that shall not be hard. 17 No burden-bearer shall bear another's burden, and if some over-laden soul should call out for someone else to carry his load, not the least portion of it will be borne for him, even though he were a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen, and pray regularly. Anyone who purifies himself will benefit greatly from doing so. To God all shall return. 18 The blind man is not equal with the seer; 19 Neither darknesses and light, 20 Nor the shade and the heat, 21 nor are the living and the dead alike. Allah makes to hear whomsoever He wishes, but you, (O Prophet), cannot cause to hear those who are in their graves. 22 thou art naught but a warner. 23 We have sent you with the Truth to proclaim good news and to warn. Never has there been a nation but a warner came to it. 24 If they cry thee lies, those before them also cried lies; their Messengers came to them with the clear signs, the Psalms, the Illuminating Book; 25 so I seized the unbelievers and how terrible was their torment. 26
