Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Surely the fruit of the Zaqqum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 Saying “Taste it! Indeed you only are the most honourable, the dignified!” 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 among gardens and springs, 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59
