Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 shall be the food of the sinful. 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 As does boiling water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Verily the God-fearing will be in a place secure 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 Therefore We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue. They may haply take a warning. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
