Remind them, therefore, that by the grace of your Lord you are neither a soothsayer nor possessed. 29 Do they say: "He is a poet for whom we expect an adverse turn of fortune?" 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?” 32 Or do they say, 'He has invented it?' Nay, but they do not believe. 33 Let them produce a discourse like it if they are true in their claim. 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no strong faith. 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord, or have they been given charge of them? 37 Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof. 38 What! The daughters for Him, and the sons for you? 39 Or is it that you ask of them any recompense so that they should fear to be weighed down under the burden of debt? 40 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! 42 Or do they have a God besides Allah? Purity is to Allah from their ascribing of partners to Him. 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 Then let them be (O Muhammad), till they meet their day, in which they will be thunder-stricken, 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 Surely there are other torments besides this for those who are wicked, though most of them do not know. 47 Await the judgement of your Lord, for you are always before Our eyes, and glorify your Lord with praises when you rise, 48 And proclaim His Purity during the night, and when the stars turn back. 49
