The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 - The piercing Star! 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 he was created of gushing water 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Verily He is Able to restore him, 8 On the Day when secrets are disclosed, 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 By the heaven with its recurring cycle of rain, 11 And [by] the earth which cracks open, 12 Verily, it is a discourse distinguishing. 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 And I plot a plot (against them). 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17

Almighty Allah's Truth.
