Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
