The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Do not direct your eyes towards the things We have given to some of their couples to enjoy, and do not at all grieve because of them, and take the Muslims within the folds of your mercy. 88 and say, 'Surely, I am the manifest warner.' 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 So, by your Lord, We would most certainly question them all, 92 For all that they used to do. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 Who set up along with Allah another ilah (god), they will come to know. 96 We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say. 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
