۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 and they have enraged us, 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
