1/4 Hizb 45

And the trumpet is blown and lo! from the graves they hie unto their Lord, 51 'Woe for us' they will say. 'Who has roused us from our sleepingplace? This is what the Merciful promised; the Messengers have spoken the truth' 52 And it is but one Shout and they are all arraigned before Us. 53 today no soul will be wronged at all; nor shall ye be requited but for that which ye have been working. 54 Surely the dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in an occupation quite happy. 55 They and their wives shall be in shades, reclining on raised couches. 56 They shall have fruits therein, and they shall have whatever they desire. 57 Peace: a word from a Merciful Lord. 58 (The Lord will command), "Criminals, stand away from the others on this day." 59 ۞ Children of Adam, did I not command you not to serve Satan -- he is to you an open enemy 60 and that you worship Me? Surely, that is the Straight Path. 61 Still, he misguided a whole throng of you. Did you have no sense? 62 Now this is the Hell of which you were warned. 63 "Embrace ye the (fire) this Day, for that ye (persistently) rejected (Truth)." 64 This day We will set a seal on their mouths, and their hands will speak out to Us and their feet will bear witness to their deeds. 65 Had it been Our will We would have obliterated their sight so that they raced to the Path. But, how would they see? 66 And if We pleased We could paralyse them in their tracks, and they would not be able to move forward or turn back. 67

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
