۞ And when the son of Maryam is held up, an example, behold! thy people thereat cry out. 57 And say: "Are our deities better or he?" They say this only for disputing. Surely they are a contentious people. 58 He was naught but a servant on whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the children of Israel. 59 And had We willed We could have set among you angels to be viceroys in the earth. 60 And most surely it is a knowledge of the hour, therefore have no doubt about it and follow me: this is the right path. 61 do not let Satan bar your way. He is truly your sworn enemy. 62 And when Jesus came with the clear signs he said, 'I have come to you with wisdom, and that I may make clear to you some of that whereon you are at variance; so fear you God and obey you me. 63 For God, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship Him: that is a straight path." 64 But certain groups created differences among themselves. Woe to the unjust. They will face a painful torment. 65 They await but the Hour: that it should come upon them of a sudden, while they perceive not. 66 Friends will turn into enemies on that day, except those who fear and follow the straight path. 67
