Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 When the stars fall, losing their lustre; 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, 4 when the savage beasts shall be brought together, 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 And when the heaven has its covering removed, 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 [then] each soul shall know what it has put forward. 14 BUT NAY! I call to witness the revolving stars, 15 Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, 16 by the night swarming, 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 And your comrade is not mad. 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; 25 Whither then will you go? 26 It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
