The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 The piercing star! 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man look - from what is he created. 5 He is created from a water dripping, 6 That is issued from between the backs and the ribs. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 and [man] will have neither strength nor helper! 10 So I call to witness the rain-producing sky, 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 and it is certainly not a jest. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 And I (too) will make a scheme. 16 so bear with those who deny the truth, and let them be for a little while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
