Al-nahl 12 of 16

And (bethink you of) the day when we raise up of every nation a witness, then there is no leave for disbelievers, nor are they allowed to make amends. 84 And when the harmdoers see their punishment, it shall never be lightened, nor shall they ever be respited. 85 And when those who associate (others with Allah) shall see their associate-gods, they shall say: Our Lord, these are our associate-gods on whom we called besides Thee. But they will give them back the reply: Most surely you are liars. 86 and on that Day they will offer total submission to God: and all that they used to devise will fail them. 87 Those who disbelieved and prevented from the way of Allah – We added punishment upon the punishment – the recompense of their mischief. 88 And (bethink you of) the day when We raise in every nation a witness against them of their own folk, and We bring thee (Muhammad) as a witness against these. And We reveal the Scripture unto thee as an exposition of all things, and a guidance and a mercy and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah). 89
