And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
