Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by the wind that scatters far and wide, 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 and those that apportion [the gift of life] at [God's] behest! 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 and, verily, judgment is bound to come! 6 By the heaven containing pathways, 7 Verily ye are in a divided opinion. 8 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 The righteous shall live among gardens and fountains, 15 enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because,] verily, they were doers of good in the past: 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 and in the mornings they would ask for forgiveness; 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 And on the earth there are signs for those who would be convinced. 20 And within yourselves. Can you not perceive? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 So, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, this is certainly true, as true as the fact of your speaking. 23

Notes and Instructions
يعرض القرآن الملون الصفحات بواحد من ثلاثة خطوط عربية. قد يظهر أي منهم بإحتمال الثلث، مما يزيد على التنوع الموجود أصلا في الألوان. وتبقى الكلمات خالدة الى الابد. وقريبا، سيكون للقرآن الملون خطوطا أُخرى جميلة إن شاء الله.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
