So did you observe him who turned away? 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 He plunged the villages 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
