I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except those on the right side. 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 Of evil-doers: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
