The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 In outstretched columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
