Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
