The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 178 So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. 179 I do not ask any payment for my preaching. I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ "Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). 181 and weigh with the straight scale, 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 And fear He who created you and the former creation." 184 They said, "You are no more than a bewitched and insane man 185 And you are naught but a mortal like ourselves, and we know you to be certainly of the liars. 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 Answered [Shu'ayb]: "My Sustainer knows fully well what you are doing." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Surely, in this is indeed a sign; but most of them would not believe: 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191
