۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 That is not a hard thing for Allah. 17 And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination. 18 Not alike are the blind and the seeing. 19 Neither darknesses and light, 20 nor shade and heat 21 nor are the living and the dead. God makes to listen whomever He wants. (Muhammad), you cannot make people in the graves to listen. 22 You, [O Muhammad], are not but a warner. 23 Verily We! We have sent thee with the truth, as a bearer of glad tidings and as a warner; and there is not a community but there hath passed among them a warner. 24 And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light. 25 Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach. 26
