Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 On a straight path. 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
