Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We bestowed his household to him and one more similar to it – as a mercy from Us, and as a remembrance for the people of intellect. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode, 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 And make mention of Ishmael and Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. All are of the chosen. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This is what is promised you for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 they will burn, in Hell, an evil resting place -- 56 This - let them taste it: scalding water and corruption. 57 And other torments of similar kind, all together! 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people rushing headlong to join you?" "No welcome to them! Indeed, they are headed for the fire!" 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or are they here, and our eyes have missed them?" 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
