With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 “Therefore rush towards Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
