۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
