But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran).
