▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
