Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8
