۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 and they have enraged us, 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
