The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 and a few from later times. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And wide eyed houris 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 And extended shade, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 And fruit in abundance. 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 And made them virginal, 36 loving and of equal age. 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

Notes and Instructions
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
