Verily, for the Righteous, are Gardens of Delight, in the Presence of their Lord. 34 Should We treat the true believers and the wrongdoers alike? 35 What ails you? How ill you judge! 36 Or have you, perchance, a [special] divine writ which you study, 37 That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose? 38 Or, have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge! 39 Ask then, which of them will stand thereof a surety? 40 they will receive the same thing that the Muslims will? Do they have any witness to such an agreement? Let them bring out such witness, if they are truthful. 41 On the Day when the truth shall be laid bare, they will be called upon to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do so. 42 Their eyes shall be downcast and ignominy shall overwhelm them. For when they were safe and sound, they were summoned to prostrate themselves, (and they refused). 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. 45 Or dost thou (Muhammad) ask a fee from them so that they are heavily taxed? 46 Or [do they think] that the hidden reality [of all that exists] is within their grasp, so that [in time] they can write it down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 If not that a favor from his Lord overtook him, he would have been thrown onto the naked shore while he was censured. 49 His Lord therefore chose him and made him among those deserving His proximity. 50 And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. 51 But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds. 52
