The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 And who glide with ease. 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 And then they manage the affair, 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 And there will follow it the next blast. 7 Hearts, that Day, will tremble, 8 Unable to lift their gaze. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 Even after we are crumbled bones? 11 They have said, "Such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss". 12 But it shall be only a single scare, 13 When, behold, they will be in the (full) awakening (to Judgment). 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 His Lord called to him in the Sacred Valley of Towa, 16 (Saying:) Go thou unto Pharaoh - Lo! he hath rebelled - 17 and say, 'Will you reform yourself? 18 that I might guide you to your Lord, so that you fear (Him)." 19 And thereupon he [went to Pharaoh and] made him aware of the great wonder [of God's grace]. 20 But (Pharaoh) rejected it and disobeyed (guidance); 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 And assembled (his council) and proclaimed, 23 then said: 'I am your lord, the most high' 24 Wherefore Allah laid hold of him with the punishment of the Hereafter and of the present. 25 Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]. 26
