The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
