O all you who believe, seek you help in patience and prayer; surely God is with the patient. 153 And do not say of those who are slain in the way of Allah, "they are dead." In fact, they are alive but you do not perceive that life. 154 And surely We shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the steadfast, 155 Who, when there afflicteth them an affliction, say: verily we are Allah's, and verily unto Him we are returners. 156 On those will be prayers and mercy from their Lord, those are guided. 157 ۞ Truly Safa and Marwa are the symbols of God. Whoever goes on pilgrimage to the House (of God), or on a holy visit, is not guilty of wrong if he walk around them; and he who does good of his own accord will find appreciation with God who knows everything. 158 Verily those who hide that which We have sent down of evidence and the guidance, after We have expounded it unto mankind in the Book, these! curseth them Allah, and shall curse them the cursers 159 Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful. 160 Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - upon them will be the curse of Allah and of the angels and the people, all together, 161 They will live condemned forever, will have no relief from the torment, and no attention will be paid to them. 162 Your God is One God. There is no god except He. He is the Merciful, the Most Merciful. 163
