Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 We have made it [the Quran] easy, in your own language [Prophet], so that you may convey glad news to the righteous and give warning to a stubborn people. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
