۞ But who does greater evil than he who lies against God and cries lies to the very truth, when it comes to him? Is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 32 And he who comes with the truth, and confirms it, those are they who surely fear Allah. 33 They shall have whatever they want with their Lord, that is the recompense of the gooddoers, 34 God will efface their worst deeds from their record and give them their reward in accordance with the best of their actions. 35 Is not Allah sufficient for His servant? And they seek to frighten you with those besides Him; and whomsoever Allah makes err, there is no guide for him. 36 And whomsoever Allah guideth, for him there shall be no misleader. Is not Allah Mighty, and Lord of Retribution? 37 If thou askest them, 'Who created the heavens and the earth?' they will say, 'God.' Say: 'What think you? That you call upon apart from God -- if God desires affliction for me, shall they remove His affliction? Or if He desires mercy for me, shall they withhold His mercy?' Say: 'God is enough for me; in Him all those put their trust who put their trust.' 38 Say thou: my nation! work according to your condition; I am going to work in my way; presently ye shall come to know. 39 who will suffer a humiliating torment and on whom will descend an everlasting punishment." 40 BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed upon thee this divine writ, setting forth the truth for [the benefit of all] mankind. And whoever chooses to be guided [thereby,] does so for his own good, and whoever chooses to go astray, goes but astray to his own hurt; and thou hast not the power to determine their fate. 41
