۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
