It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection. 15 Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)? 16 Or do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not send against you a violent whirlwind? Then you shall know how (terrible) has been My Warning? 17 Those that were before them also cried lies; then how was My horror! 18 Do they not see the birds above them spreading and closing their wings? None save the Merciful sustains them. Surely, He observes all things. 19 Or which army do you have that will help you against the Most Gracious? The disbelievers are in nothing except an illusion. 20 Who is there to give you food in case He withholds His bounty? Yet they persist in rebellion and aversion. 21 What, is he who walks prone upon his face better guided than he who walks upright on a straight path? 22 Say: “He it is Who has brought you into being, and has given you hearing and sight, and has given you hearts to think and understand. How seldom do you give thanks!” 23 Say, "It is God who has settled you on the earth and to Him you will be resurrected". 24 And they say: When shall this threat be (executed) if you are truthful? 25 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "The knowledge (of its exact time) is with Allah only, and I am only a plain warner." 26 Then, when they see it nigh at hand, the faces of the unbelievers will be vexed, and it will be said, 'This is what you were promised.' 27 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “What is your opinion –Allah may either destroy me and those with me, or have mercy on us – so who is such that will protect the disbelievers from the painful punishment?” 28 Say: "He is the benevolent; in Him do we believe, and in Him do we place our trust. You will now realise who is in manifest error." 29 Say: Have ye thought: If (all) your water were to disappear into the earth, who then could bring you gushing water? 30
