The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
