We settled the children of Israel in a blessed land and provided them with pure sustenance. They did not create differences among themselves until after the knowledge had come to them. God will judge their differences on the Day of Judgment. 93 So, if thou art in doubt regarding what We have sent down to thee, ask those who recite the Book before thee. The truth has come to thee from thy Lord; so be not of the doubters, 94 And be not thou of those who deny the revelations of Allah, for then wert thou of the losers. 95 Verily those on whom the word of thy Lord hath been justified shall not believe. 96 Even if every sign should come to them, until they see the painful punishment. 97 For, alas, there has never yet been any community that attained to faith [in its entirety,] and thereupon benefited by its faith, except the people of Jonah. When they came to believe, We removed from them the suffering of disgrace [which otherwise would have befallen them even] in the life of this world, and allowed them to enjoy their life during the time allotted to them. 98 And [thus it is:] had thy Sustainer so willed, all those who live on earth would surely have attained to faith, all of them: dost thou, then, think that thou couldst compel people to believe, 99 And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah's permission; and He casts uncleanness on those who will not understand. 100 Say: Behold what is in the heavens and the earth! But revelations and warnings avail not folk who will not believe. 101 So what are they waiting for, except the days similar to the days of those who passed away before them? Say, “Then wait! I too am waiting with you.” 102 Thereafter We delivered Our apostles and those who believed. Even so, as incumbent upon us, We deliver the believers. 103
